Welcome to Zookie! By using this website you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable.

Our content is general advice, not veterinary advice

Our guides are researched and vet-reviewed, but they are general information for Australian pet owners — not a substitute for advice from your own veterinarian, who knows your pet. In an emergency, always call your vet or the Animal Poisons Helpline (1300 869 738).

Insurance & finance content

Our insurance guides and comparisons are general information only and don't consider your personal circumstances. Always read the insurer's Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) before buying a policy. We may earn a commission from links marked as sponsored — this never changes our editorial conclusions.

Shop purchases

  • Prices are in AUD and include GST. Orders ship to Australian addresses.
  • Our returns policy (change of mind and faulty items) is shown at checkout and on product pages.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual property

Accuracy

We work hard to keep information current (council rules, prices, product details), but things change. Check key details with the relevant authority or provider before making decisions.
